Dream 8 & 40 Constitution, Bylaws, and Standing Rules into updated reality...and avoid nightmares.

Each Salon should have available:

1. A current copy of your Salon's approved documents

2. A current copy of the Departemental Constitution, Bylaws, and Standing Rules

3. A current copy of the National Constitution, Bylaws, and Standing Rules

​

Your Salon documents should be reviewed or revised often. The best practice is to choose a portion to discuss at every Salon meeting. There is no mandated template. The 8 and 40 handbook is online on this website and the National website (www.8and40.org); pages 38-51 can be used as your template, or we can provide one for you.

​

An updated copy of your Salon documents should be sent to this Chairman for review and signature by June 1, 2026. Send a copy of your reviewed and signed documents to the Departemental La Secretaire and Departemental L'Avocate.

At La Marche, an award will be presented to each salon that has current documents reviewed during this administrative year.
